09.03.2022 – Bar House – Seattle WA

After their set I was talking with the drummer of the headlining act – Roadside Monument. Matt basically said, “We really need to choose our opening acts more carefully, they were good.” I think my response was “Yep.” and something about the bass player being fire.

I met the drummer of Reader, Andy King after the show. We talked about about music and photography. he doesn’t do any bragging but I googled him. His resume is pretty impressive. He is literally a marathon drummer. He drums to help musicians get medical help for addictions. Truly an awesome human being and great drummer.

The band was amazing, go see them if you get a chance. As far as genre? I don’t know, they sound a lot like they look: fusion-post-prog-punk?
